This site's ethos is one sentence long: read the documents and disagree. Here is the shortest honest path to doing that. Twelve exhibits from the declassified record, chosen to span sensor data, sworn-in witnesses, Cold War history, and the government's own analyses. Each comes with its strongest quote, its skeptic's case, and the primary source one click away. Rate each one; the record renders your verdict back.

Before you start · how to weigh what you read

You are about to rate twelve pieces of the declassified record. They come in four kinds, and each is judged a little differently:

Military reporting — mission reports filed by trained crews through official channels, with calibrated sensors. Strong on discipline; weakest where a single sensor band or an eyeballed speed is all there is.
Witness testimony — first-person accounts, sometimes sworn. Credible people can still be fooled by night, distance, and optics, so look for independent corroboration.
Official assessment — the government’s own analysis. It cuts both ways: it can debunk a case, and it can concede in writing that one is unresolved.
Historical record — decades-old files. Foundational and revealing about institutions, but usually unverifiable at this distance.

For each exhibit: read the quote, read the skeptic’s case, follow at least one “examine it yourself” link to the source, and only then rate it, from Explained (a mundane cause fits) to Compelling (unexplained after scrutiny).
